Establishes the safety specifications and test methods that playpens and/or enclosures for infants must meet during normal use, as well as the labeling requirements that they must meet during their marketing in the national territory.

Playpen:
A piece of furniture that can hold a child up to a maximum height of 89 cm or a maximum weight of 14 kg and whose base is separated from the floor.

Enclosure:
A piece of furniture that can hold a child up to a maximum height of 89 cm and that has no base or it is attached to the floor.
